Law is an instrument of social change, It must keep pace and should continue to be modulated itself in commensuration with socio economic change. For the practicing lawyer, the academic lawyer and the law teacher in the second decade of 21st century there can be no better motto: Changing the world, both in India as elsewhere and this is transformation, which I hope my coming students of law will witness it during their working lives because I believe that the legal profession almost as no other belong only to the young.
Young students, you are now entering in the field of law. You must remember that society should rise to the ideals of the constitution. You have much to do and much to achieve. The constitution envisages an ideal society and it can only be worked to its fullest. If our society is better in the task that you will undertake. You must bring to bear all your industry, all your resources and learn for bettering yourself and your society. For this, you have to work selflessly and with integrity and devotion.
This college extends a warm welcome to all the entrants in this year in this college. I wish them all success in their private lives and still greater success in creating a better India. The college is committed not only to guide students towards culture, tradition and country in order to maintain a challenging and meaningful learning rather than just passing the examination.
